Ooujeeih!
Un-Magritt Nordseth produksjon
In Ooujeeih! choreographer Un-Magritt Nordseth have let herself inspire by the tiniest movement material and the ability the little ones have to respond to movement and sound. With this as her starting point this performance has become a visual and perceptive and carries a naive, cartoony expression.
Composer Gyrid Nordal Kaldestad use already composed children's voices and live voice improvisation. Musician and dancers respond to each other in the moment to preserve the improvised expression. The dancers' characters each create their own world during the performance using long, colourful, foam rubber snakes which they shape and connect into various shapes. In this self produced world the dancers relate to a material that is both firm and soft, that they can crawl through, around and hide behind.
