A small Ocean floor
Stellaris DansTeater
Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 November, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Galleriet Fileen, Arctic Cultural Centre
For children: 1-3 years
During DanseFestival Barents Stellaris DansTeater creates ‘A small Ocean floor’. The installation performance relate to young children and their world of movements, sounds and colours. Stellaris DansTeater creates a room where the performers move between sets and props from the family performance ‘Ocean Antics’. Maybe the children themselves will explore the sounds and visuals of the little ocean landscape, thus allowing for child participation and blurring the line between fantasy and reality. Kindergartens are invited to this collaboration with Stellaris DansTeater where the goal is to create our own little ocean floor.
Choreographer Solveig Leinan-Hermo collaborates with composer Halvdan Nedrejord together with Ekaterina Nikitina, Gerd Kaisa Vorren and Tonje Aas Molnes. Sets and costumes from ‘Ocean Antics’ is by Hilde Skancke Pedersen.
Duration: ca. 20 min
