Schizophrenia is a mental disorder which affects how a person thinks, feels and acts. Artistically we are interested in the moment where you are no longer looked at as human, but a schizophrenic. And hopefully shed some light on this disorder.
Human is a solo stage performance combining contemporary dance, visuals and specially composed music and sound. All the screen content has been created using only the dancers body parts and movements.
The abstract movements language has been created using the physical and mental restriction a person suffering from schizophrenia inhabit to create choreographed movements that represent the human behind the diagnose.
Tharan and Espen are working very closely and collaboratively developing the story and drama with the aim that they will create a show where the visuals and choreography are strongly united in their explorations of the human mind and body.

Tundra * is a creative visual studio in Oslo and London led by film and animation director Espen Haslene and art director Karine Faou. They have won a number of international awards in both movies and television, including 2 Cannes Lions, Gold at the Promax BDA Europe Awards and have featured their films at major film festivals such as Toronto, London and Berlin. Their work is often highly developed visually, and today's clients include Alexander McQueen, NRK, Mulberry, ITV and many international organisations.
Plire Multi Dance (PMD) is a dance company built around the Norwegian choreographer Tharan Revfem, and has an interdisciplinary orientation. The company has created work since 1999, which has been shown in various places both nationally and internationally. The company mainly creates productions with a combination of dance and visual technology. Tharan received a 3 year work grant in 2014 from the Norwegian Cultural Council. She was a semi- finalist for the choreographic competitions The Place Prize (London, UK) and the Nordic Grand Prix (Kuopio, Finland) with her production DOT.
