A seminar with a focus on accessibility, audience development and audience engagement, using digital tools to create new ways for people to experience dance. TaikaBox have developed a variety of strategies for involving local communities in the creation and presentation of their work, aiming for a more ecological and inclusive touring model.
As part of this seminar, they will demonstrate some of their digital/choreographic systems, giving you the opportunity to move around and create real-time light paintings (DigiDance) and to co-create short dance works from the comfort of your chair (Please Switch On).

4Pi Productions – DANCE DOME
In this seminar 4Pi Productions will introduce you to some of their most recent projects within the dome space and other immersive art environments. They will share narrative themes and ideas for their new Norway based film.
4Pi Productions have created unique dance films all captured and produced in the fulldome format as part of their award winning Dance Dome Platform. The Dome transports audiences into the centre of site specific contemporary dance films. These films have been screened worldwide in planateriums and toured within 4pi’s immersive cinema dome.
