Panflutes and Paperwork
Ingrid Berger Myhre & Lasse Passage
Friday 6 November 19:30, Frityren, Arktisk kultursenter
In Panflutes and Paperwork, Ingrid Berger Myhre and Lasse Passage look unpretentiously at the relationship between dance and music. Based on scores, they emphasize interest in structure and method, rather than talent and virtuosity. The title of the duet hints at the contrast between the wet and the dry; the heartfelt and the structural, the playful and the bureaucratic. There is a tension between these states that refers to the well-known choreographer-composer relationship and its conventions. With tools from both camps, Ingrid and Lasse invent new coincidences that change the rules of the game.
