ABOUT The DEN - Dance Expo Norway
A meeting place for dialogue, exchange and unity across the dance industry.
The industry meeting is initiated by CODA Oslo International Dance Festival in collaboration with twelve other dance institutions for the dance field, organizers and producers in the field of dance.
The project lasts for three years and has two main elements:
• Exhibition arena for Norwegian dance, a platform for dance artists based in Norway to show their work to international organizers and producers
• Seminars and knowledge development for the free dance field's producers and producing artists.
The seminar series runs over three years and is held at festivals across the country. The program can be followed as a comprehensive academic course, or you can participate in the seminars you want. Those who follow the entire series will receive a course certificate upon completion of the course series in 2021.
The organizers behind The DEN make up large parts of the dance field in Norway and are a targeted initiative to strengthen the industry and provide viewing opportunities for dance artists from Norway.
