Ada Einmo J is of indigenous Sami descent, living in the arctic of Northern Norway. She is a freelance choreographer, stage director, project manager, performer and lecturer. Her works, research and experimentations are often taken from ancient arctic and sámi cultural expressions and into the contemporary. She specializes in outdoor site-specific performances and has shown her work in Norway, the US, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Serbia & India. She is the co-founder and former artistic director of South Sami Theatre in Norway. Her works often confront the majority storytelling and perspectives.

Ada is currently working on the project “MAY I DANCE YOU”/«Earth Voices».

Elle Sofe is showing the performance "Vástádus eana - The answer is land” during this years festival.

Elle Sofe Sara, based in Guovdageaidnu, is a choreographer and director who works at the interlaces of filmmaking, dance and theatre. In her works she regularly sheds light on the social, political and cultural peculiarities and challenges of the Sámi People.

Elle Sofe was the festival profile at the Arctic Arts Festival in Harstad in 2020 and 2021. In 2019, she won the Moon Jury Award for her short film Ribadit at Imagine Native Film Festival in Canada. Elle Sofe is also one of four talents in Talent Norway’s filmmakers program and founder of Dáiddadállu/ Sámi artist collective in Guovdageaidnu.
