KARHUTANSSI (BEAR DANCE)

KVÄÄNITATTERIN

Friday 8 November 18:30 Ole Olsen salen, Arktisk kultursenter

Kvääni dance doesn’t exist!
…or at least that’s what many people tend to think, because of history of colonization, political and structural discrimination against Kvääni people, and the strict religion within many Kvääni communities.

Experience Karhutanssi - a Kvääni dance performance with live music.
Traditional dance and music meets contemporary dance and street dance, performed by top dancers and top musicians from different fields in Norway.

The Kvääni choreographer Astrid Serine Hoel has researched dances and movements from Kvääni communities.

Movement is identity
Movement is culture
Movement is nature

Kvääni dance exists!

/

Kväänin tanssia ei ole!
…tai?

Koje Karhutanssi – kväänin tanssiesitys live mysikilla.
Tradittiinaalinen musikki ja tanssi kohtaa nykytanssin ja katutanssin oman alan toppitanssaajitten esittämänä.

Koreografi Astrid Serine Hoel oon tutkinu kväänimiljöitten tanssia ja liikkheitä.

Liike oon identiteettiä.
Liike oon kulttuuria.
Liike oon luontoa.

Kväänin tanssia oon!
