Workshop: Establishing Networks through Our Bodies
Barents of the Future
Thursday 7 November 9:30-11:30, Museum of Reconstruction
What: Workshop "Establishing Networks through Our Bodies"
When: November 7, 9:30-11:30
Where: Hammerfest Museum
Who: Ole-Henrik Bjørkmo Lifjell, Sasha Kremenets (GullBakken)
We invite: artists, researchers, cultural managers, producers, and students
Join us for immersive workshop where we’ll explore how our bodies can be active agents in establishing networks across the Barents region. Using an Open Space format, we’re creating an inclusive space for organic, self-directed conversations, connections, and collaborations that reach beyond borders.
In this workshop, we won’t be aiming to create polished pieces or performances. Instead, we’ll use various forms of artistic expression: movement, paint, sound, words, and others as tools to experience and examine states of belonging, community, and relational networks. Each participant will have the freedom to choose their medium and let it guide their interactions, whether that means dancing, painting, singing, speaking, or even playing an instrument.
We will provide paper and crayons. If you have a small music instrument please bring with you.
Let’s come together to shape the Barents of the Future (BOF) through tactile, emotional, and reflective methods. This is a space where curiosity, creativity, and collaboration thrive — ready to add your voice.
