SKROT

SILJE NORDHEIM/KARIN MOE HENNIE

Wed. 27 & Thurs. 28 Nov. 9:15, 10:00 & 10:45.
Kindergarten performances.

In the show we meet Rote and Hue, i.e. "Team RoteHue (Team MessyHead)". The two workers arrive at a new place, and it's not just any place. It's an area full of junk. First, Team RoteHue has to figure out what to do with all this scrap. They find out, after a lot of back and forth, that they have to clean and sort this into marked bins, but Rote and Hue are also curious. Just like the kids. They pick things up from the ground, and before throwing them in the right bin, it is important to test whether they can be used for something. Can it make a sound? does it smell something? Can it be danced to? What can we do with an empty yogurt cup? What can a boot with holes in it be used for? Tin cans? Newpaper?

We know that young children communicate through the senses, and are allowed to explore. They are able to feel things, look at things and take part in organising the things. The children are introduced in a fun way to sorting plastic, food, paper, metal and residual waste and how what is apparently scrap can be used for something magical and fun.

Duration: about 30 minutes.
