Latvian dance artists with guest performances in Hammerfest in collaboration with Den kulturellert skolesekken.
“Performance: 3D on phones" is a social dance project, a performance that takes place in schools, directly in classrooms, for students and young people. Today, phones have played such a big role in the lives of young people that dance cannot be indifferent. It seems that even love can no longer compete with phones.
Everyone has a phone, you can buy one, it is not demanding, but it takes up all your free time. Brutal, but at the same time so invisible. Whether this is good or bad, we cannot know, but we can notice this phenomenon. Can we think differently by being creative?
Procedure: The dancers will go to schools, classrooms and within one hour they will show an interactive performance “3D (dance, discussion, demonstration) on phones”. The performance will offer a perspective on young people's addiction to phones, without moralizing, and consider both the good and the bad that it brings. Whether the use of smartphones changes people's attitudes towards the future, whether this change is good or bad - together we will look for answers.
Students must have access to their own mobile phone or use a shared one.
