Hard Hud is an interdisciplinary art project that weaves together text, poetry, audio, film, and dance. The work portrays an inner war – a woman’s struggle to survive a relationship marked by psychological and emotional abuse.
The project takes the audience on a journey through invisible violence: from the first subtle signs – blame, silence, criticism, and confusion – to the gradual breakdown of self-worth and identity. Psychological abuse rarely leaves visible scars, but it inflicts deep wounds on the mind. Hard Hud shows how trust in one’s own thoughts, judgments, and feelings can be torn apart – and how the path back to oneself is both painful and liberating.
By breaking the silence, Hard Hud sheds light on mental health and violence in close relationships – social issues that remain taboo and often invisible. At the same time, the project explores how art can serve as a healing space, a place for processing, resistance, and transformation.
Hard Hud is both a personal protest and an artistic statement – an attempt to give voice to those who are too often silenced.
Hard Hud will be shown as a performative presentation with film and movement, as well as an exhibition version with film.
