He, Siren? is a contemplative dance piece that takes the audience into deep water. While we search in the depths, we can both search for and try to avoid the gaze of others. We can try to copy other people's body language, keep others at a distance, while at the same time being curious, and searching for belonging and acceptance.
He, Siren? explores identity and belonging, in a world where we are constantly showered with ideals, ideas and tips on how to succeed in life - our inner, physical and social life. For some, this is the easiest thing in the world. For others, it is a struggle.
In this solo, Thomas of Norway explores ways to find way, both above and below the surface. Instinct meets consciousness. The self-conscious meets the self-critical. From testing to the compulsive. What awaits at the end?
He, Siren? is Thomas of Norway´s 15th Anniversary performance.
