Students from Hammerfest Cultural School collaborate with professional performers in a joint performance. Students from the cultural school perform the choreography "Mystery run". HLM Produksjoner presents the performance "Veentaika - Vannmagien" where a student from the cultural school is an extra.

"Veentaika - Vannmagien" is a mysterious performance for families and children and young people between the ages of 9-15, where narrative theater is mixed with dance. In an exciting scenography we conjure up situations that are about surviving in nature. Younger children are welcome to come with their parents.

We tell newly written legends about a fictional haltija in the forest in Nordreisa. Haltija is a figure from Kven folklore. The word has been translated as guardian spirit or nature spirit. "They are also the guardians of the forest and nature. They are kind only if you are kind with nature and follow its rules", (Sanna Jussia). In the performance we ask - what happens to the river and the wild salmon? Who are today's Haltijaers? What is being done locally to ensure that children and young people in Hammerfest can fish for wild salmon in the river in 10-15 years? We have invited a representative from the local river association to talk about it in the performance.
